What Glass Cleaner does

Glass Cleaner is the rebounding Zone Ability carried by Nikola Jokic, the game’s premier glass-eater. When the carrier enters the Zone, Glass Cleaner raises their Rebounds rating and boosts their Putbacks rating coming directly out of a rebound — so they not only win more boards but cash the second-chance finish at a far higher rate.

It is a possession-control ability. Every missed shot during the Zone becomes a live putback opportunity, letting the carrier turn the offensive glass into easy points and deny the other team the defensive rebound that would end the possession.

How to use it

Crash the glass hard while Glass Cleaner is live. On offense, follow your team’s shots to the rim and go straight back up off the rebound rather than resetting — the Putbacks boost makes the immediate finish the highest-percentage play. On defense, attack every board to end opponent possessions and start the break. Rebounding also carries explicit height bonuses per the developer’s notes, so a big carrier compounds the boost — seal your man early and meet the ball at its highest point.

The In the Zone meter

Glass Cleaner comes online through the carrier’s own In the Zone meter — each player charges theirs with their own play: tricks, dunks, dimes and buckets, with bigger highlight plays filling it faster (the Aura rating is that player’s personal charge rate). When the meter is full, activate the Zone with L3+R3 for roughly 30 seconds of boosted speed, power and stamina plus the signature ability. Position the carrier before you pop it — activating while they’re out of position or gassed wastes part of the window.
