The Run Guru ("we") keeps data collection minimal. This page explains what we collect and why.

Accounts

If you create an account to comment, post tips, or rate pages, we store the email address you sign in with and a public display name, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase). We never see or store a password — sign-in uses an emailed magic link.

Content you post

Comments, tips, and ratings you submit are stored and shown publicly alongside your display name. You can edit or delete your own contributions.

Ask the Guru (AI chat)

Questions you ask the Guru (plus your recent turns in that conversation and the site excerpts used to answer) are processed by a third-party AI provider — don't include personal information in a question. To keep the feature safe and within its usage limits, we log questions with the account that asked (if signed in) or the network address the request came from (if not); these logs are retained for up to 45 days and are not shared or sold.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, cookie-light analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not sell personal data.
