The Run Guru

Contribute

Every player's bars and In the Zone ability are confirmed from the in-game cards — but the hidden systems in NBA The Run are still being mapped: shooting range, stamina refill, what each patch really changed. If you've got confirmed info, a clean clip, or a strategy that works — we want it.

Ways to help

  • Test in The Lab. Got the game? Take a hidden mechanic for a run and post what you see — the zone meter, shot timing, or whether two players with the same bars actually play the same. Real, repeatable evidence is how a question moves from theory to confirmed.
  • Confirm or correct ratings. We read every player's bars off the in-game player-select cards. If a card shows something different from what we have — a bar, a crown, or an In the Zone ability — tell us, ideally with a screenshot.
  • Comment & tip on any page. Drop strategy, matchups, and corrections directly on the relevant entry.

Not a tester?

The site is free and ad-free. If you just want to help keep the servers on and the cards re-scanned every patch, there's a tip jar. Tipping never requires an account — but if you've got one, put your Guru username in the Ko-fi message and you'll get the ☕ supporter badge next to your name across the site.

Our data standard

We label what's confirmed versus unconfirmed, and we don't invent numbers. The game rates players as 1–5 bars — the developer has said there's no hidden 0–100 scale — so we mirror the bars exactly and leave anything unverified blank rather than guess. A source (a card screenshot, official notes, or reproducible testing) helps us mark something confirmed faster.
