Cooper Flagg
A versatile rookie forward who already affects both ends.

Weaknesses
- –3 steals — not a passing-lane gambler
- –3 rebounds — won't clean the glass like a big
Flagg is the rookie you stick on the other team’s best scorer and forget about. A 5 on Guard and a deep, balanced card behind it — 4s nearly across the board, a 5 on aura that charges the Zone fast — means there’s no clean way to attack him. Drive and he walls up, pull up and he’s right there, take it to the rim and the 4 blocks is waiting. The shooting is still coming along (4 from three), and steals and rebounds sit at 3, so he’s a hounding on-ball stopper more than a gambler or a glass-eater. But for a 6’9“ wing he gives you something at every position.
On offense he’s no liability either — a 5 on twos, 4 handles, 4 dunks and 4 passes means he can put it on the deck, finish, and move it. He won’t carry a possession like a star, but he keeps the ball humming and punishes a help defender who cheats off him.
In the Zone: Lock Down. His takeover raises Steals, Blocks, Shove and Guard all at once — the whole defensive kit lifts instead of one tool. Trigger it when the other team has a clear go-to scorer late: glue Flagg to him, play up the floor, and there’s no part of the matchup you have to concede while it’s live. It’s the button you hit when you need a stop.
Run him with a primary shot-creator and a knockdown shooter. Flagg covers the defensive ground so a score-first guard can hunt buckets, and his 4 from three is enough to keep the floor honest when a high-volume bomber bends the defense the other way.
