Spin Cycle doesn’t guard you so much as rob you. A crowned 5 in steals with quick-hands handles that are also a crowned 5 — that’s the whole act: poke it loose, scoop it up, gone. He pairs that with 5 speed, so the strip turns into a fast break before your big has even turned around. The Philly pest came up between laundry shifts on the Spring Garden blacktop, and the game on the card is exactly that: pressure the ball, feast on the careless dribble, never stop poking.

He’ll lose the leverage battle and get nudged off a drive, so the steals are how he wins, not how he holds up. On offense he’s better than people expect (4 twos, 4 threes, 4 passes) but he’s no rim-wrecker at 2 dunks. His job is to gamble, generate, and feed — not to finish over a contest.

In the Zone: Pickpocket. Bumps his already-crowned steals even higher and slashes the penalty for a missed swipe, so he can attack the ball and jump passing lanes without paying when a gamble misses. A crowned aura means he charges the meter fast too, so the steal-hunting window comes around often. Line him up on the other team’s primary handler before you trigger it and let him strip from the first second.

Run him with a paint anchor to cover the rim when his gambles miss — El Gigante backstops him cleanly — plus a real finisher to cash the turnovers he creates. He generates the extra possessions; give him someone who turns them into points.
