Dame’s range starts at half court. A crowned 5 from three — gold, maxed out — sitting on 5 handles and a quick-trigger 5 from two means the second he crosses the timeline he’s a live shot. Go under a screen or sag a step and you’ve already lost. And he’s not just a stander: 5 speed gets him into the pull-up, 5 stamina lets him fire all game, and 4 passes means the gravity he bends opens lanes for everyone else. The card’s where you’d expect for a 6’2“ sniper — 3 on guard, 2 steals, 2 boards, 2 blocks — so he draws heat the same way he gives it. Hide him on the worst perimeter threat and let a stopper eat the tough matchup.
In the Zone: Deep Threat. Pure Dame Time. It strips the distance penalty and softens the guard penalty, so a logo pull-up with a hand in his face still greens. The tighter a defense pressures the ball, the more this punishes them — that contest barely registers while it’s live. Pop it the moment he’s spotted up beyond the arc; don’t trigger it with him gassed or out of position and waste the window.
Run him with a stopper to cover the 3 on guard and a passer to feed the catch-and-shoot. A Dropping Dimes setup man stacks clean on top of him — catch the dish, cash a deep one that was already easier to make. A switchy rim protector behind him patches the paint his frame won’t.
