Curry’s jumper is the headline — a crowned, gold 5 from deep, the stat his whole game is built on. Stack it with 5 twos, 5 handles, and the 5 passes to find the open man, and the card reads as pure offense, top to bottom. The 5 stamina means the volume never dips; he’s pulling up in the fourth like it’s the first. He doesn’t even need a step of daylight — half a step and it’s already in the air.
The card spells out the price right next to all that gold. He’s a 2 on power, a 2 on the glass, a 3 on guard. Put him on an island and quicker, stronger guards will hunt the matchup all game. He cooks one end and gets cooked the other, so he plays best with a stopper or a switchy big swallowing the assignment he can’t.
In the Zone: Deep Threat. It cuts the distance and guard penalty on his shot, so a contested deep pull-up greens like it’s wide open — the defender’s hand barely registers while it’s live. With a 5 aura charging the meter quick, he gets there often. Set him on the perimeter before you pop it and let him relocate into windows.
Run him with Jayson Tatum — Going Off lifts Tatum’s whole offensive bag (shots, dunks, handles, passes), a second engine the defense has to honor while Curry’s Deep Threat is live. Any screen-and-glass big who frees him to move off the ball fits the same way.
